This long-envisioned space will be a welcoming, uplifting corner of the community where young athletes can be supported, celebrated, and inspired—just like Charlie would’ve wanted.

Doxie Dash
We had an absolute blast at this year’s Doxie Dash, and we’re thrilled to share it was a paws-itively great success! Teaming up with the Granite City Lumberjacks, we rallied 12 determined dachshunds to the starting line—all short legs, big hearts, and plenty of tail wags. The highlight? Louis the wiener dog zipped his way to victory and was officially crowned the fastest wiener of 2025! Proceeds benefited Ruff Start Rescue, helping animals find loving homes.

We were both proud and touched when the St. Cloud Crush Hockey coaches selected our son Lewis as the 2025 Charlie Boike Spirit Award winner—an honor that means the world to us and reflects the heart of the game Charlie loved so much. (Also pictured, Jackson Sheetz – 2024 award winner)
